In a deal announced by Ironman, Facebook Watch will be the "exclusive digital home of 17 live events in 2019." The multi-year deal will add two more races to the coverage list for 2020, with an option for a third year with 22 events in 2021.

According to a press release, the first year of the partnership between Ironman and Facebook saw "more than 3.5 million people watching for at least one minute of an IronmanLive broadcast."

While the final schedule has yet to be announced, one would assume that in addition to the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 world championship races all of the Ironman full-distance regional championships, beginning with next month's Ironman African Championship in South Africa, will be included in the coverage.

The event coverage will be hosted by Greg Welch, Paula Newby-Fraser, Dede Griesbauer, Rachel Joyce, Matt Lieto and Michael Lovato.
