The premiere of the Challenge Prague had a Belgian men's champ, but the next three spots on the finish list were all taken by Germans. Pieter Heemeryck (BEL) secured the overall victory in 3:47:45 after a solid performance in all disciplines, Andreas Dreitz took second 1:30 behind, despite the fastest bike split of the day. The podium was completed by current ETU mid-distance European champion Patrick Dirksmeier (3:54:36). Behind him was Germany's Per Bittner in 3:58:07.
In the women's race, as expected, Lucy Charles led from start to finish. The Briton had the fastest splits in all three disciplines to win in 4:11:21, eight-minutes ahead of Yvonne van Vlerken (NED). In third was Ewa Bugdal from Poland in a time of 4:23:24.
