A pre-competition test at last year's Ironman World Championship turned up a positive test for the eventual winner of the men's 18-24 age group.

Tested on the Wednesday before the race, Mexico's Fernando Luis Pelcastre Rabanal has been banned for four years for the use of testosterone, a hormone that provides both physical and psychological growth.

He loses his world title, which now goes to Austrian Georg Enzenberger, who finished in a time of 9:34:02, about 31-minutes behind Rabanal.
