Alcúdia, on the Spanish island of Mallorca, is one of the most appealing towns on an island that boasts more than 30 km of coastline made up of gorgeous fine-sand beaches, steep cliffs and beautiful secluded coves. Five-time Ironman France winner Marcel Zamora Perez would love to win at home, but he will have to face a tough field that includes Horst Reichel, Markus Fachbach and Konstantin Bachor. On paper the women's winner should come from either Diana Riesler or Emma Bilham, however Jocelyn McCauley, Lauren Parker and Natascha Schmitt could impact the results if they are on their game.
