The Challenge series adds a new event in Prague, the Czech Republic's largest city and capital, on July 29, 2017. In addition to the half-distance Challenge Prague there will be a Challenge Junior race and a Challenge Try-Athlon event.

TriPrague, and event started in 2015, will become part of the Challenge Family in 2017. The race will be held on the 29th of July 2017. Athletes will enjoy an amazing race site close to the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, National Theatre or Vyšehrad. Race will be held on the 29th of July 2017.

With the active support of the National Triathlon Federation, the city and tourism bodies this race will quickly become a 'must do' race.”
Challenge Prague will feature a new course so that the whole race will be faster, more attractive and safe. The swim and cycling courses will go through significant changes, while the the run course will be fully closed for traffic.
In keeping with the Challenge Family "festival" atmosphere at many events, a number of different races will be offered. The event kicks off with a Challenge Juniorrace for triathletes aged eight to fifteen and culminates with the flagship Challenge Prague half-distance race. For those, who just want to try a short version of triathlon race there's the Challenge Try-Athlon consisting of an 380 m swim, 18 km bike and 4.2 km run is available. Relays will be included in both Challenge Prague and the Challenge Try-Athlon.
