Murray takes the overall title

Cam Dye was actually faster than Richard Murray in the final sprint triathlon held on beautiful Highbourne Cay today, but wasn't able to gain enough time on the South African to take the overall title. Dye's 7:40 swim/ 29:40 bike and 14:39 run (52:05) got him to the line 35 seconds faster than Murray (7:49/ 31:06/ 13:47 - 52:40), but since he trailed by just over a minute after the first two days of racing the American's win today wasn't by enough to get him the overall title.

Murray moves up a spot from last year, while Australia's Aaron Royle rounded out the podium, managing to hold of Terenzo Bozzone by just six seconds. Only 48 seconds separated third through seventh in the men's race.

Jorgensen runs to another big day

Flora Duffy managed to give Gwen Jorgensen a bit of a scare out on Highbourne Cay, but couldn't hold off the speedy American after managing to pull ahead thanks to an 8:27 swim/ 33:24 bike and 15:40 run (57:29), but, like Dye, it wasn't enough for the ITU world champ to gain enough time on Jorgensen, who took her second Island House title in a row thanks to an 8:28 swim/ 34:57 bike/ 14:43 run (58:06).

Duffy was able to move up a spot in the rankings thanks to her big performance today, passing Holly Lawrence to take second.
