There was simply no stopping Vincent Luis this weekend as the Frenchman took both days of racing at the Super League Triathlon event in Jersey. As he did during Saturday's "Triple Mix," Luis was masterful in all three disciplines, pulling clear of Henri Schoeman on the final run of the three-triathlons-in-a-row format that made up the "Enduro" race. Schoeman repeated as the runner up on Sunday, just as he had done the day before, while Richard Murray rounded out the Enduro podium. In the overall standings, though, defending Jersey champion Kristian Blummenfelt's fourth place finish in the Enduro was enough to net him third.
The women's defending champion, Katie Zaferes, couldn't compete with France's Cassandre Beaugrand on Saturday, but Sunday's Enduro event was a completely different story. The American led virtually from start to finish, dominated the nine-leg final event. Paired with her runner-up finish from Saturday, the win on Sunday was more than enough to ensure Zaferes took her second straight Super League Jersey title. Kirsten Kasper was the only woman who could stay close to Zaferes during Sunday's Enduro, but couldn't match her countrywoman's pace on the final run, but was still able to finish a clear second over Beaugrand. The third place finish was enough to get Beaugrand second in the overall standings.
