In the first qualifier for the Super League Triathlon series, Emma Jeffcoat and Andreas Schilling topped the list of 10 qualifiers for the Championship series.

The first qualifying event for the upcoming Super League Triathlon Championship series took place in Poznan, Poland this weekend. Five men and five women earned their "golden tickets" which will allow them to participate in the Championship series which begins in Jersey on September 29.
The weekend's racing began with a "Triple Mix" which featured three races separated by 10 minutes. The first began with a swim/ bike/ run, the second was a run/ bike/ swim and the third was a bike/ swim/ run.
Emma Jeffcoat led the standings after the first day of racing, followed by Desirae Ridenour and Maria Czesnik. In the men's race Andreas Schilling took the lead, followed by Tyler Mislawchuk and Kevin McDowell (USA).
Day two featured an "Enduro" race that saw the competitors take three continuous swim/ bike/ run efforts. Once again Jeffcoat led the way in the women's race. Ridenour maintained her second place in the standings after the race, while Czesnik remained in third. Erin Densham and Klaudia Sebok rounded out the women's qualifiers.
The men's race saw Schilling take a thrilling sprint over Mislawchuk to nail his place at the top of the standings. Mislawchuk finished second and fellow-Canadian Matthew Sharpe was able to take third to move himself up a spot in the overall finishing order. McDowell would still get his qualifying spot in fourth, while Jonas Schomburg rounded out the qualifying list.
