Returning to the roots of the sport, the Norseman-inspired Hispaman Xtreme Triathlon will feature a challenging 3.8 km/ 180 km/ 42.2 km course limited to just 330 athletes.

The race will start with a swim around the waters of the Papa Luna Castle in Peniscola, followed by a demanding ride to the interior of the Castellon region that will feature an elevation gain of 3,400 m. That's all followed by a run that includes 2,000 m of climbing before reaching the finish line in Vistabella.

Registration for the new event opens on October 25. The first 30 slots will offer the premium registration package for the standard price.
