Fyn announces HRH Crown Prince of Denmark as patron for world championships

The Fyn 2018 ITU Multisport World Championships just announced a big name patron: The Crown Prince of Denmark. Information on the event and a video of the Crown Prince checking out the Cross Course.

After a hugely successful debut in 2017 in Penticton, B.C., Canada, the ITU Multisport World Championships Festival moves to Fyn, Denmark from July 6 to 14, 2018. Registration is now open for the event, which also has announced a high-profile patron, His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Denmark. He took in the Cross course himself, as you'll see from this video!

The Festival includes five world championships held over nine days. Races will be held in the municipalities of Odense, Svendborg and Middelfart.

Friday, July 6: Standard Duathlon - Odense

Sunday, July 8: Sprint Duathlon - Odense

Tuesday, July 10: Cross Triathlon - Svendborg

Thursday, July 12: Aqathlon - Middelfart/ Odense

Saturday, July 14: Aqua Bike/ Long Distance Triathlon/ Long Distance Relay - Middelfart/ Odense


Age group athletes, Elite, U23, Junior and Paratriathletes must be registered by their national federations, but everyone else can register for the "Open" races here.
