Terenzo Bozzone is off on another tear of global racing. Last year he came off a sixth-place finish at the Ironman World Championship and followed that up a few weeks later with a win at Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos, runner-up finishes at the Island House Triathlon and Ironman 70.3 Bahrain, then took the Ironman Western Australia title.

After setting a new course record in Taupo last weekend, Bozzone is now heading to Ironman 70.3 Bariloche in Argentina, then competes at Ironman 70.3 Campeche in Mexico the following week.

“Winning Ironman NZ is a dream come true," Bozzone says. "I never would have guessed someone would break eight hours on this course and to do this with my brother doing his first Ironman was just the icing on the cake. My body seems to be recovering well and I am looking forward to seeing if with the right rest and preparation i can keep my performances improving over the next two weeks.”
