The numbers are downright depressing when compared to golf or tennis (Tiger Woods hasn't won a tournament in 2018 but has still won over a million dollars), but Terenzo Bozzone's two-continent, three-race winning spree has put him at the top of the 2018 prize money ranking for now. On the women's side Rachel Klamer's big win at WTS Abu Dhabi has put her atop the women's standings.

Bozzone's three race winning spree included a record-setting day at Ironman New Zealand along with two Ironman 70.3 titles in Bariloche and Campeche. Henri Schoeman, the men's winner of WTS Abu Dhabi sits second in the rankings ahead of Mario Mola.

Laura Siddall also took the Ironman New Zealand title and that, coupled with her runner-up finish at Challenge Wanaka, puts her in second in the ranking, ahead of fellow Brit Jessica Learmonth.
