Another former Cannondale rider has announced a new bike sponsor. Last week it was Michelle Vesterby, this time it's American Andy Potts, the 2004 Olympian and 2007 Ironman 70.3 world champion who finished seventh in Kona last year (to go along with his fourth-place finishes on the Big Island in 2014 and 2015.
"Ceepo has thought about everything when building a tri-specific superbike,” says Potts. “Aerodynamics, ride, position, fit, hydration and feel - all to make sure you're fast and ready to run. The more I learn about what my body needs and how to prepare to be my best, the more I need to think about the little things. Ceepo has made my job easier by building bikes to meet every triathlete's needs."
Potts will start the season on Ceepo's Katana frame, then switch over to the Viper R. He will provide input for the development of Ceepo's "next generation race machine," too, signalling the development of a new model from the company.
