6 steps to flip turns

Swimming to the wall: After the last arm pull, both arms remain stretched in front of the body. During the short gliding section, check the distance to the wall for the right time to initiate the rolling motion. It will take some practice to figure out the exact time to begin the turn. As you near the wall, pull with both arms as if you are doing butterfly.
