Helle Frederiksen has been training in Clermont, Florida this winter and today's photo of the day was captured byJesper Grønnemark during an early morning swim session.

Frederiksen, a 2012 Olympian, set the fastest women's time ever for a half-distance race when she won Challenge Bahrain in 2014 in 3:55:50. She's a seven-time Ironman 70.3 champion and won last year's Challenge Samorin race. Samorin is the site of "The Championship," Challenge Family's marquee event which will take place in early June this year. Frederiksen will be one of the favorites at that race.

Last weekend Frederiksen raced at Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico, which had been the site of her first half-distance race in 2013, which she won. Sunday's event "was a tough day out there," Frederiksen said of her third-place finish. The race was won by a fast-riding Alicia Kaye, who blasted through the bike and held on for the win.

Frederiksen's next race will be Ironman 70.3 Texas on April 2.
