Marvelous in Mexico: Don and Wurtele win Campeche 70.3

Tim Don was simply too good on the swim and bike, while Heather Wurtele was, well, simply too good for the rest of the field at Ironman 70.3 Campeche.

Wurtele wins again

Heather Wurtele's track record at Ironman 70.3 races has become amongst the best ever, something she proved in style today by taking her 19th Ironman 70.3 title at Ironman 70.3 Campeche. Wurtele trailed by just over a minute out of the water, but put her stamp on the race on teh bike and run, cruising to the line almost 10 minutes ahead of Mexico's Cecelia Perez.

Don dominates

Olympian-turned-Ironman-champ Tim Don put on a show of swimming and biking prowess before cruising through the run to take the men's title by almost four minutes over a pair of Canadians, Cody Beals and Trevor Wurtele, who took the second two spots on the podium. (Making it a pretty awesome day to be a Wurtele.)
