Ironman 70.3 Marbella set for April, 2018

Ironman has announced Spain's sixth M-dot event - Ironman 70.3 Marbella set for April 29, 2018.

Ironman has added another 70.3 race in Spain to an already busy race roster. Ironman 70.3 Marbella takes place in the heart of Spain's "Costa de Sol" region. Marbella is one of the region's most popular tourist stops - set on the Mediterranean coast halfway between Malaga and the Strait of Gibraltor.

The 1.9 km swim takes place in the Mediterranean, exiting on Levante beach in Puerto Banus. Th 90 km bike takes in some of the most scenic parts of the region, followed by the two-lap, 21 km run along the seafront promenade of Marbella. 

The race will offer 50 qualifying spots to the 2018 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa.
